Deacons Meeting . . . The deacons will meet Monday, May 12th at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Missions Recognition Service . . . On Wednesday, May 14th we will recognize our GA’s and RA’s in the Sanctuary at 6:15 pm. Mission Friends will not meet but there will be Child Care for ages 4-5 in Room 120.

Graduate Recognition . . . We will be recognizing our graduates on Sunday, May 18th during morning worship. If you are graduating please turn in your info no later than Tuesday, May 13th.

Sanctuary Flowers . . . Do you want to publicly honor someone special in your life?  Sponsor a flower arrangement displayed at the center of the Sanctuary every week. To reserve a date please call the church office at 426-2444.

Vacation Bible School . . .  July 21–25 from 9 a.m. – 12:00 noon.
Our theme is “Outrigger Island – Living God’s Unshakeable Truth”. We are looking for “Island Guides” (Leaders) to help our children learn God’s truth. Please pray about your involvement in VBS. Summer Small Groups . . . This summer we are starting new small groups which will meet in neighborhoods throughout Louisville. Sign ups are going on right now for teens.

J-Creek Parent Meeting . . . We will meet next Sunday, May 18th at 5:00 pm in the Pit.

Youth Worship . . . Wednesday, May 21st from 6:00-7:15 pm in room 101.

Friday Night Live . . . Friday, May 23rd. Join us as we kick off the summer with tons of games, prizes and a concert with the Vine Worship Band.

Youth Choir Program . . . Next Sunday, May 18th at 6:00 pm in the Sanctuary the Youth Choir will present their Spring Music Program. We hope you will join us!

Son Power Orlando. . .  June 29 - July 5, 2008 HBC Youth Choir will participate in an unforgettable week of music and missions for students. $25 non-refundable deposit due February 10th. Contact Chris Kihn for more information.


Missions Ministry
Local Mission Opportunity . . . Every third Sunday our church provides and serves breakfast to the Jefferson Street Baptist Mission. If you or your Sunday School class would be interested in helping please contact Lamont Breland.
