We consider it a privilege to care for and teach your preschoolers.
It is our prayer for our preschoolers to have a safe, secure, happy environment and to experience God’s love every time they come.

Child care is provided for preschoolers (babies – kindergarten) for all church-wide services.
Child care is provided in the preschool rooms on the west side of the building.

SUNDAY MORNINGS

Parents with preschoolers should go to the preschool welcome area to register their child. Parents will be asked to give basic information about their child, specifically about any allergies. The parent will be given a pager. A name tag with the pager number (and any allergies) will be placed on the child. The greeter will escort the parents and their children to their rooms. After services the parents should return to the preschool welcome area to return their pager and to get their child.

SUNDAYS, WEDNESDAY EVENINGS & SPECIAL SERVICES

On Sunday mornings parents with preschoolers should go to the preschool welcome area to register their child. Parents will be asked to give basic information about their child, specifically about any allergies. The parents will be given a card with an ID #. A name tag with the ID # (and any allergy info) will be placed on the child. The greeter will escort the parents and their child to the child's room. If during the worship service the parents need to be contacted about their child, their child's ID # will appear on the upper left corner on the screen above the baptistery. After the service the parents should present their ID card to their child's teacher to pick up their child.

Depending on the activity, the preschoolers may go out to the playground or upstairs to the gym. If this should happen, a sign will be placed on the door.
Teachers will carry their clipboard with them.

EXTENDED TEACHING

During our morning worship service we have an Extended Teaching Care for our babies – three year olds. Those children stay in the same rooms for Sunday School and during the worship service. Our 4 and 5 year olds (Pre K and Kindergarten) are picked up by their parents after Sunday School and accompany their parents to the Sanctuary for the first part of the worship service.

During the middle of the worship service a message will appear on the screen signaling the 4’s and 5’s come to the front of the sanctuary. The 4’s and 5’s are then escorted by the ETC Leaders out of the sanctuary and back to their Sunday School rooms for an extended teaching time.

After the worship service parents should return to pick up their child from their room.

VISITORS should register their preschoolers and the preschool welcome area. Parents of younger preschoolers will be given a pager in case they need to be contacted. After the service, visitors should return their pager to the preschool welcome area.
